Established in 1989, FLF Press is a
publishing house operated editorially in the public interest. The
FLF mission is to provide ideas and viewpoints that are under-represented
in the mass media. FLF specializes in publishing the very books the
conglomerates had decided were insufficiently profitable--books that,
while important, might never contribute to the bottom line.
Thanks in part to our commitment to quality and our ability to attract
excellent authors with compelling stories to tell, FLF has become
one of the leading independent book publishers in America.
As a public-interest organization, The FLF relies on readers, authors, booksellers,
and reviewers to keep their mission intact.
FLF accepts submissions for the following genres:
- Autobiographies/Biographies of national interest
- Fiction
- Non-fiction works that are compelling or educational
- Gay/Lesbian studies and lifestyle titles
- Children's books
- Other subjects that are unrepresented in the mass media
